Presentation Skills Workshop
Course Length: Two Days
Workshop Objectives/Anticipated Results:
Give a presentation that makes sense, is organized and offers an opportunity for participants to become engaged and easily retain data. Adult learning styles are addressed in this Presentation Skills Workshop that assists presenters flex their style based on the audience and key objectives. Specific theory will turn to practice as the group begins to create scenarios to mesh their styles with not only those they teach, but with the information needed to be presented.

Workshop Outline, Day One
Module I
Purpose
- Develop a mission for your presentation
- Define presentation objectives
- Determine the impact you want to achieve
Module II
Plan
- Identify the key elements and main points of your presentation
- Organize you ideas
- Profile your audience: Synchronize with every audience—adjust to learning styles
- Prepare a powerful opening
- Techniques for making your presentation memorable
Module III
Deliver
- Use high impact language
- Manage the entire message: words, tone and vision
- Make learning interactive and experiential
- Strategies to increase retention

Workshop Outline, Day Two
During this intense, participative and engaging day, participants will spend it using concepts and skills learned in day one. The course objective is to have each participant be able to significantly improve their presentation skills and feel comfortable using them.
Participants will be asked to present to the group, using new coaching/educational techniques. Each videotaped presentation will be reviewed by the group and benefit will come from further discussion. Options for the course delivery is the key as the group is exposed to each presentation.
